| So i haven't been on in a while! To catch you up. Two Sundays ago I was able to eat with Frank Dee, who is high in rank at the Beacon, and I know some friends that are ministering to Him. Please be in prayer for frank.
Also, I had an AMAZING birthday with some amazing friends, although i missed the ones that weren't able to make it around the world. Laura cooked chicken pasta and bread, Josh made Southern Sweet Tea, Kim made fabulous cupcakes, and Gareth made a chocolate marble cheesecake from scratch. It was GREAT!! Better than I ever expected. | Well, ............the 4th of July was great! I got to go to Mosaic and help Kim out with the kickoff stuff for Summer Spectacular (VBS (12-6)) and I ran the Popcorn machine with Melinda. We had a blast! Then, we went to Rockerfellar Park and watched the fireworks of the Statue of Liberty. It was fun hanging out with Grace and Lauren from Mosaic going us. The 5th we kickoff Paint the Town and it went pretty well. We had some mix ups and confusions but overall it was pretty good. We have started and are now ready to GO CRAZYYYYY!!!!! or at least I am  .We should be all settled now. So, we can take it a little slower, we are registered for college week and the other volunteers are getting on the ball. Jess comes in Soon.  | | |
| It has been a busy week. The weekend has been relaxing. Not much new, except I got to hang out with the gang (Kim, Karalee, Laura, Kaleb, Kendall, and Jess this weekend. But I do want to share a quick story with you. After I took Jess to the airport today I was on the bus and these two girls got on at one of the airport terminals. Well, they had no change and no MTA cards. These 2 kind men gave them their MTA cards as they got off to go to the airport.Jesus rode the bus with me today. Just as HE does everyday! | | |
| Thursday we started out orientation with the project managers. Kendall,Jimmy and Anita came in. We had fun and got to know Jose and Oscar. Friday Mickey Caison came in and I saw Dave Howard from Last year. We went to hear Billy Graham Last Crusade Fri. and Sat. Fri.: George Beverly Shea, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Salvador. Sat.: Tree 63, Jars of Clay and Nicole C. Mullins sang. George has sung with Billy and Cliff has toured with him for 60 years. Sat. I went to Garfield with Jess and had an amazing time. We got to talk a lot. I go to attend Bible Church International on Sunday and meet the church membersl. We even got to go hang out at Starbucks for 4 hours. GREAT WEEKEND!!! | | |
| Wow, it's been a while since i've updated. I haven't seen jess much this week. However, I have seen two big stars. Last Saturday Jess Drullinger and I saw Fran Drescher with her daughter and dog. On mon. Laura and I saw some guy (tommy boy?) she recongnized from the Waltons. Work is still crazy this week getting ready to receive the teams. Billy Graham is coming up Fri. which im really excited about. Kim is gone this week and we all miss her.  But we see her tommorrow or the next day. Laura, Josh and I went to eat dessert at Serendipity last night. It was yummy. I got frozen hot chocolat, but id also recommend the forbidden broadway. | | |
